Services for B.T. Carberry, 85, of Pendleton will be at 1 pm today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Pendleton Cemetery.
Mr. Carberry died Monday, Feb. 22, at a Temple nursing home.
He was born to James Daniel and Mary Etta (Osteen) Carberry in Bell County. Mr Carberry had worked and farmed in the area all his life.
He was a former chairman of the Bell County ASCS Committee. He had served as a member of the Troy School Board. He was a longtime member and former member of the administrative board of Troy United Methodist Church. He had served as a director of the Elm Creek Water Supply Corp.
He also had served as a director of the Bell County Farm Bureau. He also was on the Farmers Home Administration county committee. He married Estelle Kennedy on March 16, 1936, in Marlin.
Survivors are his wife, Estelle Carberry of Pendleton; one son, Billy Carberry of Moody; a brother, John R. Carberry of Golinda; two sisters, Gwen Walsh of Moody and Mary Etta Howe of Robinson; and two grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to Troy United Methodist Church.

Bonnie contracted a "nursing home virus" which left him in coma on Saturday.
He died at 11am on Monday, February 22, 1999.
His brother Lonnie died in October 1998.
