Funeral services for Howard Herschel Koppenal, 38-year-old Madisonville resident, were held from the Brown Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev Charles von Rosenberg officiating. Interment was in the Wager cemetery at Madisonville.
Mr. Koppenal, a civilian employee at Barksdale Air Field at Shreveport, died in a Shreveport hospital at 9:00 a.m. Sunday after a long illness.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cathy Lee and Miss Brenda Koppenal, and one son, Michael Koppenal, all of Atlanta, Ga.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Koppenal of Madisonville; and three brothers, Claude, William and Jerry Koppenal, also of Madisonville.
