Stonewall Jackson Beall, well known retired farmer, near this city, died at Vindobona Coavaescent and Rest Home, Braddock Heights Monday at 8:35 am after an illness of one year, aged 86 years.
He was a son of the late William C and Treacy Eaves Beall and a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren. Mr Beall farmed on the West Seventh street road the land now being owned by Fort Detrick, for 34 years having retired 8 years ago.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Katie Mae Brunner Beall: three sons and two daughters, John Francis Beall, at home; Claude Vincent Beall, this city; Irving Leroy Beall, Shookstown; Miss Mary Elizabeth Beall, at home; and Mrs. Mervin L Guyton, U.S. Naval Dairy, Gambrills: two brothers and one sister, Oscar Richard Beall, near Mount Airy; George Washington Beall, Walkersville; and Mrs Mary Francis Cashour, near Mount Airy. Eight grand children and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The body is at the funeral home, 106 East Church Street where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 2 pm. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Easter Seal Society, care of the funeral home M. R. Etchison and son, funeral directors.
