Hazlette A. Ferguson, 82, of North Webster, died Thurdsay, May 3, at 8:05 p.m. at Miller's Merry Manor in Columbia City. She was born January 16, 1902 in Lorraine, Ohio to Charles and Maud Wise Brubaker.
Mrs. Ferguson had lived in North Webster since 1959, moving there from Auburn. In 1964 she was married to Ray Ferguson. His death was in 1967. She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxillary.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Walter (Phyllis) Mitchell of Larwill; Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Reiff of Warsaw; Mrs. Virginia Wiseman of Cromwell, and Mrs. Lester (Shirley) Webber of St. Louis; a son, William Phend of Fort Wayne; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Jane Jacobs of Fort Wayne.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harris Funeral Home in Syracuse with the Rev. Rex Lindermood officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Keister Cemetery, Whitley County.
