Mr. Gray was born Feb 25, 1896 the s/o Rev. and Mrs. M. G. Coleman in Beardstown IL. He was a graduate of the grade schools at Hoopeston IL and spent a year and a half at the Ohio Military Institute, College Hill OH. While at college ill health set in and for thirteen years he had been an invalid.
Paul was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, having joined in his boyhood, lead a clean life and had a high sense of honor and was a young man of noble aspirations.
He leaves his father; his mother, Annie Kirkpatrick Coleman (she was ill and not able to attend the funeral); a sister, Mrs. E. N. Hazzard of Lake Charles LA; a brother Matthew Kirk Coleman who was a lieutenant in the Navy during the war and a sister, Dorothy Coleman, who is in Prescott AZ.
