Harry Oliver Feece, age 33 of 815 East Washington Avenue, died Wednesday in Edward Hines, Jr. hospital in Hines, Ill., following a year's illness. He was born in North Judson, Ind., Aug. 21, 1899, and lived in South Bend 30 years, coming here from North Judson.
He was married in 1927 in Valparaiso, Ind., to Effie Mae Piat, who survives. He was employed as a stationary engineer and during World War I, was a private in the ordinance department in the United States Army.
Surviving are his widow; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Feece of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Olmsted and Miss Nina Feece , South Bend, and Mrs. Dorothy Peterson, rural route No. 6, South Bend; two brothers, Forest H. Feece, Post, Texas, and Lawrence P. Feece, Lansing, Mich., and one half-sister, Mrs. Mabel Reynolds, Fulton, Ind.
The Funeral will take place from the A. M. Russell chapel at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. George Holston, of Auten chapel, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
