Mr. Cordier, a retired shirt cutter, worked in Middletown for many years. His home was in the Town of Wallkill, Orange County, near the Willows.
The son of Frederick and Barbara Miller Cordier, Mr. Cordier was born April 12, 1884, in the town of Wallkill.
His wife, the former Mae Baker, died some years ago. (Incidentally her father operated the tollgate near Shawanga Lodge on the Shawangunk Mountain for many years.)
Survivors include a son, Oscar, RD one, Middletown, three grand and six great grandchildren.
The Rev. George Klohch, pastor of the Wurtsboro Methodist Church, officiated at the rites.
Burial was in Rural Cemetery, Bloomingburg.
