Mrs. Black was born In Lafayette, March 13, 1860, a daughter of William and Linda (Calhoun) Fitzgerald. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal church. Surviving are three brothers, John and Charles Fitzgerald, Lafayette, and Sam Fitzgerald. Indianapolis, with a sister, Mrs. Mabel Daugherty, Billings, Mont.
The body was removed to the Murphy funeral home. It was announced friends might call at the funeral home after 6 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Reese F. Thornton officiating, and interment in Green-bush cemetery.
