Margaret Ruth Price, 76, of Clinton, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Cole L. and Mamie L. Matthews Blease, and was the widow of the late Carl S. "Tan" Windsor. She was also predeceased by her second husband, James B. Price of Newberry.

Mrs. Price was a life-time member of the former Bailey Memorial Methodist Church in Clinton. A lover of nature and the outdoors, she enjoyed time spent at the mountains and at the coast. She lovingly took pride in her home and family life.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Mary Windsor of Greenville; her daughter and son-in-law, Dayna and Ron Hill of Simpsonville; a granddaughter and her husband, Christy and Glenn Staton of Simpsonville; two great-grandsons, Andrew and Nicholas Staton; a sister, Nancy Bass of Simpsonville; and a nephew and his wife, Jason and Dawn Bond of Pelzer, and their sons, Ethan and Chandler.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at the Gray Funeral Home, Clinton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens, Clinton.
