Mrs. Nancy Carrie Notter, wife of J.J. Notter, died at her home in Lecta, O [sic] Tuesday night at 12:30 o'clock, after about a two weeks' illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Notter was, before her marriage, Miss Nancy Bartley. She was born at Patriot, Ohio about sixty-eight years ago, but lived in Coryville for a number of years.
Mrs. Notter has been a great sufferer for a long time with a cancer, but about two weeks ago she contracted a very heavy cold and developed into pneumonia which caused her death.
She is survived by her husband and five children: Mrs. Carrie Van Sleet [sic] of Huntington; Mrs. Carrell of Dayton; Mrs. Belle Stewart of Waterloo; Herbert of Lecta and L.M. Notter of this city. The latter with his family left this afternoon for the stricken home.
The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
