Mrs. Ruth Blunt of Hockerville, died suddenly Monday night in the Picher hospital following a short illness. Mrs. Blunt is 25 years of age and is survived by her husband, a 5 year old daughter, Louise; her mother, Mrs. Mary Bryan; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Goodall, Mrs. Francis Toms and Mrs. Pearl Toms, all of Hockerville; five brothers, Carl, Wilbur, Fines, Melvin and Leroy of Hockerville. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist church in Hockerville. Rev. Robert Denton, officiated. Burial was in the Baxter Springs cemetery.
