Henry Henington
CISCO (RNS) – Henry F. Henington, 83, died at 2:45 p.m. Monday in Graham Hospital in Cisco after a one-month illness.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church in Cisco with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Rust-Marlin-Rhyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Henington was born Sept. 12, 1887 in Bell County. He was a retired pumper for Humble Oil and Refining Co. He married Winnie Aston Jan. 6, 1909, in Big Spring.
Mr. Henington retired from Humble in 1952 after 30 years and nine months with the company. He then moved to his farm west of Cisco and lived there 15 years as a stock farmer. The Heningtons then moved to their present residence in Cisco.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie; three daughters, Mrs. W. C. (Bo) Harris of Ballinger, Mrs. C. H. (Mebs) Zellars of Odessa and Mrs. U. L. (Deane) Kingsbury of Gustine; one half brother, Travis Parmer of Hitchcock; three stepbrothers, Ernest Parmer of Sudan, Mart Parmer of Harlingen and Doc Parmer of Cisco; three stepsisters, Mrs. Very Schlaepfer of Cisco, Mrs. Pearl Roberts of Brownsville and Mrs. Jesse Welch of San Benito; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
