Heart Attack Fatal To Rossburg Veteran.
Paul Heistand, 47, veteran of the first world war, whose home was near Rossburg, died Saturday afternoon at the Gibbons hospital in Celina after a week of illness from heart trouble. He became a patient at the hospital Saturday morning. He served in the U. S. Navy during 1917 and '18 and was a member of the American Legion. He was a lifelong resident of Darke County.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Margaret Brewer, of near Ansonia; three brothers, Harold of Rossburg, Ernest and Orville of New Weston. Ralph Hiestand who died in California March 13 was a brother.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Heistand U. B. church near Rossburg, with burial in the Webster cemetery.
