EARLY - Henry Early, late of Gasper Township, Preble County, O., was born Jul. 22d, 1832, and died Oct. 6, 1889, aged 57 yrs. 2 mos. and 15 days. He was united in marriage with Margaret E. Cosby, Dec. 26, 1861. He leaves a widow, one son, a daughter, an aged mother, three sisters and two brothers to mourn their loss. He bore his sickness with fortitude and patience, though his sufferings were great. The greater part of his life was spent in Somers and Gasper Townships. The fault - if a fault, it may be said of him - was that he was too liberal and generous for his financial good. He was always ready to assist a neighbor in need. We shall miss Henry, who will no more come at the call of patrons at the mill door. He has gone to the unknown beyond. (Hiram Johnson)
