Born Feb. 21, 1916, in Wilkes County, she was a daughter of the late Mack I. and Rebecca Brooks Absher.
A member of Hinshaw Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Devon Triplett; a son, Don Clark Triplett; a brother, Charles Absher; and four sisters, Nora Waddell, Mamie Shoemaker, Gladys Kilby and Bess Shumate.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Edward Triplett, Kenneth Mack Triplett, Tim Allen Triplett and Joseph Paul Triplett of Lenoir; two daughters, Jeannie Triplett Robbins of Kings Mountain and Brenda Triplett Rich of Lenoir; two sisters, Ruth Gilbert and Edna Bentley of North Wilkesboro; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
