A Civil War veteran of Bedford,Ohio. At the age of 20, Milo entered service Aug 9, 1862, mustered into Co.B,103rd Infantry as a Private when it was raised in Cleveland. He was mustered out on June 12, 1865 at Raleigh, NC. He married Emeline ____, who was born in 1849,died in 1921, and buried in Bedford Cemetery. They had sons George, Orin (Aren??)and Benjamin, as well as a daughter who was married to Ed.Lund.
Milo helped form and was active in Royal Dunham Post No.177, Bedford. He compiled histories of Bedford's Civil War Veterans. After his death, his son George continued the project, turning documents over to the Bedford Historical Society in the 1960s.
He died June 24,1919, aged 76 years, at his home, 893 Broadway, Bedford, Ohio.He was buried Thursday June 26, 1919,at 2:30.m.from his late residence.
