Mrs. Willie Pature Kincaid Yancey, 77, a resident of Bear Creek Pike in Columbia, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Yancey will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steven Kelley officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Otha and Mammie Winchester Kincaid and was the widow of Milton C. Yancey, Sr. who died in 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Luke United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and quilting.

She is survived by three sons, John Wayne (Andrea) Yancey of Culleoka, TN, Mark A. (Luann) Yancey of Columbia, TN, and Bill (Carole) Yancey of Lewisburg, TN; a sister, Mary Pitts of Columbia, TN; six grandchildren, Brittany Beasley of Culleoka, TN, Vicki (Lee) Shumate of Columbia, TN, Laurie (Cory) Hood of Culleoka, TN, Kim (Joey) Mock of Auburn, AL, Shaun Yancey of Lewisburg, TN and Jeremy Yancey, serving in the US Marines; five great grandchildren, Elizabeth Shumate, Daniel Yancey, Ryan Mock, Kristin Mock and Cole Hood; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Milton C. "Buster" Yancey, Jr. and a brother, Otha Lee Kincaid.

Pallbearers will be Cory Hood, Daniel Yancey, Shaun Yancey, Jeremy Yancey, Lee Shumate, Chris Yancey, Kenneth Pitts and Ronnie Pitts. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ben Gardner, members of St. Luke United Methodist Church and the staff and nurses of ICU at Maury Regional Hospital.
