Leland D. Trusty, age 76, passed away peacefully, Dec. 28, 1998, with all of his family at his side. He was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Wallace, Neb., to Hallie J. and Kate (Power) Trusty. At age 17 he traveled to Montana with a custom combine crew. Temporarily settling in Grass Range, he met the love of his life, Charlotte M. Buck. They were married in Lewistown Mt., June 1, 1945.
After a couple of odd jobs, he went to work for Consolidated Freightways in 1952 and drove truck for them for 26 1/2 years until his retirement.
Lee left behind a very close-knit family that will miss him dearly.
