She was born September 24, 1927 to Mary and Fredrick Abbott. Frances graduated from East High and worked her way through the U of U where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in the Arts and also her teaching credential. Frances moved to southern CA to pursue her career. It was there that she met the love of her life, Paul Dellamano whom she married and celebrated 50 golden years with in 2004. Frances worked for many years with the Torrance Unified School District as a Reading Specialist and later opened her own ESL school. Frances loved to shop and the horse races. Upon retirement, Frances and Paul moved to Salt Lake City. Frances received loving care throughout her illness from her granddaughter, Patty Dellamano.
Frances is survived by her granddaughter Patty Dellamano (Erik); sister-in-law Pali Gall (Peter); several nieces and nephews and her dear friends, Don and Mim Hansen. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral Services will be held on Fri., July 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary located at 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. A Viewing will be held one hour prior to Services.
Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
