Krystian "Krysti" Renae Bullins, 18, of 4014 Settle Bridge Road, passed away early Monday morning, July 7, 2008 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, July 10, at Osborne Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery in Eden. Krysti was born October 19, 1989 in Eden, NC. She was a 2008 graduate of Morehead High School and was preparing for her freshman year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. While in high school she was the President of the school chapter of the National Honor Society, served as Youth President for the American Red Cross and was formerly an editor of Morehead High Schools school newspaper. Surviving is her father, Ronnie Bullins and step-mother, Heather, of the home; brother, Nathan Bullins, and sister, Hannah Bullins, both of the home and sister, Hilary Ladd of Eden; God-mother, Tammy Clark of Eden; paternal grandparents, John Bullins and Margaret Manuel; and maternal great-grandmother, Beavy Roop. Preceding Krysti in death was her mother, Shelby Ann Roop Aaron and grandmother, Linda Roop. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to UNC Children's Hospital, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC; Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, PO Box 29119, Phoenix, AZ 85038-9119; or American Red Cross, 3692 NC Hwy 14, Reidsville, NC 27320.
