FREDERIKA (special) -- Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in United Methodist Church for Mrs. Hazel Ager who died Tuesday evening in New Hampton hospital where she had been a patient following a heart attack.
Interment was made in the Alcock cemetery, the Rev. Wayne Karnn officiating and Ryttig Funeral Home in charge..
Hazel Marie (Harker) Ager, daughter of James and Sylvia (Marsh) Harker was born January 29, 1899, in Bremer county, Iowa. She was married to Floyd Ager on January 29, 1919 and a lifelong resident of this community and of the United Methodist Church and active in its life. She was presently serving as {internal?} secretary and as the membership secretary.
She is survived by a son, Harold, Frederika; two grandson, Ross and Dean, of Frederika, and onoe grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother. Also a sister and brother.
Casket bearers were James Kerr, William Burrow, James Davison, Ray Dirksen, W. H. Heffernan, and Leland Alcock.
