She married her third husband, Sgt. George Edward "George Eddy" Stancil married in 8 Oct 1951 and they had two more sons. Sgt. Stancil was the love of her life. She was born in Hopewell, Virginia. She lived her adult life in Clarksville, Tennessee, where her husband was a career Army paratrooper at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. She outlived two of her sons and her husband. Audrey was 83, when she died in Clarksville, Tennessee on April 23, 2008, at her residence.
