She died of a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday night at Deaconess Hospital.
She came to Marshall Co., in 1901.
William & Fannie were married at the German Church in Jasper Co., IA., only to discover that their marriage license was issued for Marshall Co., IA. They then had to take the sled and re-say their vows in Marshall Co. After living a short while with Mr. Meyer's parents they purchased a farm southeast of Rhodes, Marshall Co., IA.
She and her husband farmed near Rhodes, retiring and moving into town in 1936.
