Greer, Dave J.-- Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shafter Memorial Park for Dave J. Greer,76, who died Dec. 11 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. H. D. Rutlidge of the First Southern Baptist Church of Shafter will officiate.
Mr. Greer, a native of Texas, lived in the Shafter area for 19 years before his retirement.
Survivors include the widow, Susie: a son, J. W. Greer of Trona; 2 sisters: Minnie Cummings, San Bernardino, and Zella Martin,Texas; and 2 grandchildren.
Mr. Greer was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church where he taught a Sunday school class.
