Susan Wisenbaker Dasher (1814-1894) and Edwin A. Dasher (1809-1844) were married February 6, 1833 in Effingham County, GA. They moved from Effingham County, along with his brothers, James A. and Andrew Jackson, to Stewart County, Georgia. Edwin A. Dasher died while living in Stewart County. When his brothers relocated to Lowndes County, Susan and her children accompanied them. Edwin A. Dasher was a son of Christian and Ann Bird Dasher, grandson of Christian and Hannah Gugle Dasher, great grandson of early Salzburger immigrant, Martin Dasher (1720-1782).

Susan was the daughter of John and Mary Densler Wisenbaker of Effingham County; mother of John Henry Dasher, Susan Dasher Fletcher, Martha Dasher Allen, Leonard Dasher, Levi F. Dasher, and Edwin S. Dasher. She was a great granddaughter of early Salzburger immigrant, Christian Wisenbaker of Ebenezer, GA.

In 1884, Mrs. Dasher donated land for the first Pine Grove School in Lowndes County, GA. The school was in this general location on Pine Road in Bemiss until 1940 when it moved further north on Cat Creek Road. A granddaughter of Susan Dasher, Laura Fletcher, was one of the first teachers in a school that pre-dated Pine Grove in that area.

Susan Dasher was great great grandmother of Irvin William Jones of Lowndes County, GA. Great great great grandchildren include Audrey Jones Peters, Iva Jones Parker, Verdie Mae Jones Carter, and Francine Jones Coppage (all students of Pine Grove School).
