From Litchfield, he went to Sardinia, Erie county, NY, owned land there and sometime after 1850, he moved to the state if Wisconsin and was a hotel keeper there.
He was married to Charlotte Heacox.
His parents were Morton and Charlotte (Wilcox) Crosby.
