Martha was born in Malaka Twp. She died Wednesday afternoon at Marshalltown Area Community Hospital. She was reared and educated in northeast Jasper County near Newton. Following her marriage to Harry, they farmed in the Rhodes & Melbourne areas. Mary moved to Melbourne in 1956. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ and a former member of the Melbourne Garden Club.
