Sallie Ashburn Barringer, wife of William Isaac Barringer, passed away April 22 at her home in the Rinnie Community. Mrs Barringer was 74 years of age, and had been in ill health for sometime.
Services were held at 2 p.m. at the Clarkrange Methodist Church, Tuesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Clarkrange Cemetery.
Rev. Raymond Lawson officiated at the services. Eastern Star rites were given following the religious servide.
Mrs Barringer is the daughter of the late (James) Anderson and Melvina Baldwin Ashburn. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are two sons, Casto of Oak Ridge, Horace, Crossville, a daughter, Mrs. Ida Sidwell. West Fourth Street, Also seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
