Ruby: daughter of William Mansfield [1849-1898] & Mary Delilah (O'Haver) [1857-1937] DeNoon; granddaughter of Jacob & Nancy (Coulter) DeNoon and Jacob & Rebecca (Valentine) O'Haver. Ruby was the youngest of her seven siblings (their ages at her birth): Laura (16), Sam (14), Anna (12), Lillie (9), Eva (7), Edna (5), Omer (2). Ruby's father died in 1898 of an intestinal blockage. Ruby's mother remarried to Frederick S. Lowe in 1906. They lived at Lot 26 in Oliver's Addition to Zionsville. Ruby graduated from Zionsville High School in 1913. In 1920 she was single and living with family at 726 West Main Street, Lebanon; she was a saleslady at a clothing store. She married Buren McDaniel on August 30, 1922. In 1930 she was living with Buren's parents on SR 32; they had a son, James M., 6, attending school (James is now deceased). In 1939 their residence was 111 N. East Street, Lebanon, and her husband owned a jewelry store. In 1963 their residence was 304 E. Washington Street. She was buried on August 29, 1963 in the Crown Hill Mausoleum with her husband, Buren (1901-1969).
