Peggy Woods (28032665)
Suggested edit: Peggy Corrinne Woods, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Art Woods, died suddenly at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when a blood clot struck her heart. The child had undergone an operation for mastoid a few weeks ago. The mastoid had caused an inflammation of the jugular vein and this formed a blood clot which caused the child to become ill. A second operation was performed but soon afterwards the clot became dislodged and traveled to the heart, causing instant death. The child was born July 16, 1924, and she was a favorite with all who knew her. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock today at the Stewart chapel. The Rev. George E. Kitchen of the Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview.
