She was born on August 18, 1947, in Paterson, New Jersey to Robert and Julia Haste. She married James Bodino. She was the mother to three daughters, Danielle Bodino Cmielewski, Michelle Bodino Tilves and Kristen Bodino Simone. She was the grandmother to Jackson, Benett and Maggie Tilves, Evelyn Cmielewski, and Michael Simone. She was the sister of Sandra Haste Mathisen and Sharon Haste.
She lived in Succasunna, N.J. for 33 years where she was the first fire inspector for Roxbury Township Fire Co #1 for more than 22 years.
She was a loving wife to her husband, Jim for 40 years in which she devoted all of her time and love to her family. Miss Dody succeeded in everything she did. She could take a single flower and make it a beautiful bouquet. Her love for her family was endless. Her compassion for others was sustaining. She was perfect in so many ways.
As a wife, she was a supporting partner. As a mother, her passion came from her heart. As a friend, she was a loyal supporter. And as a citizen, she was a role model. Her deeds were many, her mistakes were few. And for all the lives that she touched, she will never be forgotten, yet missed by all for eternity.
Arrangements were made at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, Chester, N.J. on July 2, 2008. The funeral mass was held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, in Flanders, N.J.
