BELLEFONTE, Nov. 27.—Albert Schenck, a native of Centre County, died at his home in Howard at 6 o'clock on Tuesday morning, following a two weeks' illness with bronchial asthma and complications. He had celebrated his 80th birthday on Saturday. The deceased was born three miles east of Howard, a son of Michael and Susan Buckley Schenck, both deceased. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Rose Holter Schenck, are these sons and daughters: Wilbur of Geneva, Illinois, Mrs. Kathryn Thurston of West Hamilton, California, Mrs. Jacob DeLong of Newark, Illinois, Mrs. Sallie Wentzel and Irvin Schenck, both of Howard.
Three brothers, George of Gladstone, Missouri, and Anson and Charles, both of Howard, also survived.
Funeral services were held on Friday from the Methodist Church at Howard, and interment was be made in the Schenck cemetery.
The deceased was well known in the Howard region as a farmer of ability.
