Auburn, Washington - Private family services for former Fresno Police Captain, Joseph Ervin Brady, 81, have been held in Auburn, where he had lived since 1976.
Mr. Brady died January 17, 1981.
He was a native of Missouri (born October 9, 1899 in Missouri) and had lived in Fresno 30 years. Captain Brady was with the Fresno Police Department for 25 years before retiring in 1950.
He was a member of the Fresno Elks Club.
Surviving are his wife, Norrine; two sons Allen of Washington and William of Kelseyville; two brothers, William and Carl, both of Maders; three sisters, Nellie Hughes, Helen Bell, and Irene Cumpton, all of Missouri; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family requests that any remembrance be sent to the American Cancer Society.
