Josephine married, about 1908, William Alonzo Badger. Josephine and William had no children.

Granddaughter of Neill Love McLennan Sr & Christian A Campbell and Ephriam Snell & Louisiana Hammett.

Mrs. B. A. Badger died at 10:30 p. m. Saturday in a New York hospital. She resided at 375 Park Ave., New York City.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Rev. C. W. Sydnor officiating, burial in Oakwood Cemetery.

The body will arrive in Waco on the Texas Special at 9:40 a. m. Thursday, Jan. 18.

Survivors: Her husband of New York; two sisters, Mrs. Charles E. Moore of Waco and Mrs. Watt Caufield of San Antonio.

Pallbearers: Cliff Bowman of Tyler, Oscar Moore, Julian K. Moore, Maynard Darden Sr., Holt Massey and Willard Wigley all of Waco.

The marriage is announced of Miss Josephine McLennan of Waco, Tex., to William A. Badger of Chicago, the service taking place yesterday. After a trip through Cuba the bride and groom will be at home after Dec. 1 at 1527 Rockefeller boulevard, Cleveland, O.

Funeral Thursday For Mrs. Badger, McLennan Scion
Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine McLennan Badger, 375 Park Avenue, New York City, a granddaughter of the man for whom this county was named, are to be held in St. Paul's Episcopal Church here Thursday at 4 p. m.
Mrs. Badger died in a hospital in New York City Sunday after a brief illness. A service is planned for her today at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in New York, after which the body will be sent to Waco.
The local rites will be conducted by Rev. William Sydnor. Burial is to be in Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Maynard Darden, Julien K. Moore, Oscar Moore, Holt Massey and Willard Wigley, all of Waco; and Cliff Bowman of Tyler.
Grew Up in Waco
Born Josephine McLennan in this county, Mrs. Badger grew up in Waco and attended National Park Seminary in Washington, D.C. Her grandfather, Neil McLennan, a native of Scotland, settled on the South Bosque River in 1843 -- six years before Waco was founded.
William A. Badger and Miss McLennan were married at St. Paul's here in 1907. They lived in Cleveland, Ohio, until 1921, when they moved to New York City, which since has been their home. He is a clothing manufacturer.
Farm on South Bosque
Mr. and Mrs. Badger visited Waco annually, retaining a farm on the South Bosque, a portion of the original McLennan property. Mrs. Badger was active with her husband inn Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York, particularly in golf events. Together, they visited and played many famous golf courses both in this country and abroad.
Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Charles E. Moore of Waco and Mrs. Watt Caufield of San Antonio.
