A cryptside funeral service will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for longtime Taft resident, Audrey L. Wooldridge, 79. Mrs. Wooldridge was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1929 and passed away in Bakersfield on June 22, 2008. She came to Taft 30 years ago. Mrs. Wooldridge was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Wooldridge in 1992 and by her brother, Jerry Mitchell. Her survivors include her sons and their wives, Dennis and Zelda Dabbs of Taft, Gary and Kathy Dabbs of Taft and Gary and Linda Wooldridge of Simi Valley; her grandchildren and their spouses, Lori Cullivan, Deena and Rick Brogdon, Dana and Steve Weber, Brandia and Phillip Tonoka, Dennis and Martha Dabbs, Chad and Jacklyn Dabbs, and Casey and Shannon Dabbs; 15 great grandchildren; her brother, Thomas Mitchell of Missouri; other family members, De De Dabbs Collier, Jason and Joni Olds and Melissa Bartolomei and their families; many nieces and nephews; and by her lifelong friend and special niece, Naomi Kuhnke. There are no visitation hours scheduled and the arrangements are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
