Mrs. Helen Irene Cavanaugh 63, of Teague died Wednesday at Teague Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Teague, the Revs. Jim Matzinger and John Bumpus as celebrants. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Cavanaugh was born Oct. 28, 1921, in Teague. She was a housewife and lifelong resident of Teague. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Pat J. Cavanaugh of Teague; a son, Judge Sam Bill Bournias of Fairfield; a daughter, Judy Kitchens of Fairfield; a brother, Murry Cain of Bryan; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family has designated the American Cancer Society for memorials.
Ricks Funeral Home of Teague is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 23, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Teague, for Helen Irene Cavanaugh, 63. Father Jim Matzinger and Father John Bumpus officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Teague.
Mrs. Cavanaugh was born on Oct. 28, 1921 and died Aug. 21 in Teague General Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Teague.
She was survived by her husband, Pat J. Cavanaugh of Teague; one daughter Judy Kitchens of Fairfield and one son, Sam Bournias of Fairfield, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother, Murry Cain of Bryan.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Campbell, J. W. Gregson, George Roberts, W. A. Keils, Monroe Fogleman, Andy Bonner, Dick Boyd and D. S. Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers were: Fred Owens, John Murphy, Joe Wertz, D. O. Aycock, Wes Butler, Bruce Hagadone and Frank Murden.
Lawrence-Ricks Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
