Funeral services for Tommie Ancil Grimes, age 84, of the Robbins Community in Leon County, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Dr. Dee Black, pastor of Flynn Baptist Church in Flynn, Texas, will officiate and interment will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the Walters Funeral Home. Mr. Grimes passed away October 14th in Centerville following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; first wife, Betty Grimes and son, Clifford Grimes. Surviving family members include wife, Thelma Eloise Fitzgerald; daughters, Dianna Henry & husband, Dennis & Deborah O'Neal; grandchildren, Bryan (Christine) O'Neal, Brandi (Benton) Herbert, Britani (Ian) Gallagher, Danielle (Phillip) Smith, Dana (David) Jenkins, Dennis Michael Henry & Deanna (Shawn) Blessing; great grandchildren, Brylee, Brooklyn, Bailey, Bristol, Anthony, Jayde, Makayla, Briella & Lillie; brother, Levi Powell Grimes and sisters, Lou Ann black, Oneta Hill, Lea Opal Ellis and Jerri Beery.
