Mrs. Nettie Bost Scott, 70, of 1108 Campbell St. died Sunday at 8:30 pm at her home. She had been in declining health several years.

Mrs. Scott was born November 30, 1893, in Statesville, a daughter of Delanson and Martha Isabelle Hoover Bost, and had been a resident of the High Point area 60 years. She was a member of Hillard Memorial Baptist Church. On March 19, 1910, she was married to Eugene B. Scott, who died May 4, 1973.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence(Sarah) Goodwin of Ward Street, Mrs. Lloyd(Virginia) Stamey of 106 W. Springfield Place, Mrs. Margaret Pendry of K-1A Emerywood Court Apts., Mrs. Howard(Marie) Osborne of 1108 Campbell St., Mrs. Ivey(Betty) McCarthy of 1511 Johnson St., and Mrs. Harold(Merelyn) Goodwin of Greensboro; three sons, Eugene B. Scott,Jr. of English Road, W. Arnold Scott of Abilene, Kansas and Bobby Lee Scott of Dayton, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Annie B. Smith of 1108 Campbell Street.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Stafford, the Rev. Elwood Faircloth and the Rev. Elbert L. Lilley. Burial will be in Floral Garden Memorial Park.
