Esther Olague, 89, of Calexico passed away of natural causes Sunday, June 1 in her home.
She was born May 30, 1919 in Gaston, AZ and later married Fidel P. Olague in January 1937 in Yuma, AZ. Esther loved being a mother to children, a grandmother to her grandchildren and was a great friend to all who knew her.
Visitation will take place Friday, June 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
Services will commence at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7 at Hems Brothers Mortuary in Calexico. Burial will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery, also in Calexico.
Esther is survived by her daughter, RoseMarie Olague; sons, Robert Olague of Heber and Gilbert Olague of Calexico; sisters, Lola Ruiz and Meli Romero, both of El Centro and Martha of San Diego and brother, Alfonso Garcia of San Diego.
