Clifton "Chip" Wolfe, 93, of Adrian, one of the last members of the Odd Fellows Lounge, died Thursday, July 14, 1988, at Armstrong County Health Center. Mr. Wolfe was born July 27, 1894 in Washington Township, Armstrong County, to Frank and Emma (Wyant) Wolfe. He was a retired self-employed carpenter. He is survived by a son, Edward Wolfe of Mansfield, Ohio; two daughter, Mrs. Ward (Clarice) Johns of Adrian and Mrs. Gary (Laura Lee) Furlong of Jonesboro, Ga.,; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret (Gilbert) Wolfe; his second wife, Dorothy (Flemm) Wolfe; two daughters, Iris and Louise Wolfe; one son, Allen Leslie Wolfe; three brothers, Wright, Weldon and Milburn Wolfe; and one sister, May Saye. WOLFE - Friends of Clifton "Chip" Wolfe, 94, of Adrian, who died July 14, 1988, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Miller, pastor of Brush Valley Brethren Church in Adrian, officiating. Burial will follow in the Limestone Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
