FEDERAL WAY - Eldon M. Sperline, 81, Federal Way and a former resident of Wenatchee, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 1995, at Federal Way.

He was born Aug. 24, 1913, to John Conrad and Minnie Leon (Phillippi) Sperline, at East Wenatchee, where he was raised and attended school.

He married Erma Compher on June 1, 1935, at Wenatchee, where they made their home. They moved to California, where he worked as a machinist at his brother's machine shop. They moved to Federal Way in early 1970. Mr. Sperline worked for Boeing and retired in 1978.

He was a former member of the Church of the Brethren, Wenatchee.

Survivors include his wife, at home; a son, John; a daughter, Marsha Francis; four brothers, George of Wenatchee, Donald of Puyallup, Vergil of California and Calvin of Federal Way; two sisters, Viola Coldwell of Wenatchee and Okel Bakken of Federal Way; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
