Rev, Herbert H.Reed; 82; died Monday at a Lexington County hospital.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zion United Methodist Church.Burial will be in the Church Cemetery directed by Bryant Funeral Home of St. George. Mr. Reed was born in Orangeburg County; a son of the late George B.Reed and Mrs. Roella Hydrick Reed.
He was a graduate of of Emory University,
a retired Methodist minister and served in the South' Carolina.conference for 22 years.
He had held pastorates at churches in Dorcheste Roseville Trio and Johsohville.
He was a memberof the Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving ,are: a daughter,Mrs. Dorothy R. Wtight of Lexirigton; S.C.
Two brothers,: Roland Reed of North and G.H.Reed of West Columbia,S.C. a sister, Mrs. Julia Myers of Gainsville, Ga.
Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
