Mr. Hancock was born in Lakeland on July 5, 1930 and was a lifetime resident. Mr. Hancock was a Citrus Grower and former owner of a state-designated Pioneer
Family Farm. He was also a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a lifetime member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Burke Hancock of Lakeland; daughter, Susan E. Lanier and her husband Rick, of Lakeland; and a granddaughter, Allison Page

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Bethel Baptist Church, 3125 W. Socrum Loop Rd. with the Pastor, Dr. Larry A. Taylor officiating. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations In Memory of Albert O. Hancock to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, Post Office Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802. Arrangements are being handled by Lakeland Funeral Home.
