Albert Stephen Bennett, a resident of this city for the past 38 years passed away in this city Saturday, March 30, 1940. The deceased was a native of Goshen, Oregon and was aged 66 years when called. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Hendricks of Paso Robles, California; three brothers, Ernest B. Bennett of Fort Klamath; Doc Bennett of Prarie City, Oregon and Bob Bennett of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Ella G. Hamilton of Merrill, Oregon; Sadie McKeever of Fort Klamath, Oregon; also six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

(Mr. Bennett died as the result of suffocation and burns received in a house fire, he was crippled with rheumatism)
