Monroe, Aug. 17.--Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Price, 64, were held this afternoon at Roanoke Baptist church and burial was made in the Lucy Helms cemetery.
Mrs. Price, widow of A. M. Price, died at her home three miles from Monroe yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: John H., Fairley B., Thomas Butler, Clayton, Mrs. Randolph Helms, Mrs. E. P. Thomas, Miss Ola Price, all of Union county, and English M. Price of Mecklenburg county.
