Obituary.
BACOT - A mother in Israel has fallen in the person of Mary Elizabeth, relict of Dr. Henry H. Bacot, who passed into life eternal, from the home of her daughter, Mrs T. C. Bryan, at Savannah, GA., February 29th, 1904, in her 88d year. She was descended from an illustrious line of English, Scotch and Dutch ancestry, being the granddaughter of Judge Wilds, and a great-granddaughter of Capt. Wm. DeWitt of Marion's Brigade. She inherited great force of character, combined with much gentleness of spirit, which she transmiteed to her posterity. She is survived by four sons and four daughters. The sons hold positions of trust, usefulnesws and responsibility, and the daughters are earnest workers for the Church and for the good of society.

She was the wife of Henry Harrimond Bacot and the daughter of D. R.W. McIver and Caroline Simons Wilds McIver.
