Daughter of William & Elizabeth (Crownover) Apgar
Mrs. Margaret Parks, wife of Andrew Parks, of Cass Township, died on January 6, 1891, aged 78 years, 5 months, and 10 days. The cause of her death was heart failure, occasioned by an attack of the grip. Deceased was buried on Monday, the 8th, at Cornelius Chapel, Rev. Shumaker conducting the obsequies.
Thus, the father and mother of a large family sunder their earthly ties almost at the same time. Mr. & Mrs. Parks had lived for more than half a century on the farm where they died, consequently two old landmarks have passed away. Peace to their ashes.
