Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Evangeline Gates, 79, wife of Charles L. Gates, one of the editors of the Democratis Watchman, who died Wednesday after a Five-day illness, were held Saturday from the residence on North Spring street, by the Rev. W.C.Thompson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Her survivors are her husband and four children, Edward L. of Johnstown; Charles E. of Hecla Park; Mrs. Lawerance Jones and Miss Winifred, of Bellefonte.
Burial took place in the family plot in Union Cemetery. of Edward; Winifred; Lindley; Eva & Charles
