IMPORTANT FAMILY NOTICE/REQUEST: Samuel J. Elliott, was a soldier killed in action in WW II. My Aunt was his wife. She is deceased, and a family member has the flag from his casket. We are looking for living family to give the flag to. In Ancestry, Samuel J. Elliott Jr. was son of Samuel J. Elliott Sr. and Edna (Bowlby) Elliott who resided mostly in Elsmore or Savonburg, Allen County, Kansas.
He had 5 siblings. I can't find any of them after 1930 census. Do you have any information on this family? Any help is appreciated.
Above info provided by F.A.G. member Ronda Berry, #47283843, on April 16, 2011.
