Funeral services for Miss Vera Cochran, 75, were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 3, 1978, from the Hillsboro Baptist Church. Rev. Herbert Eichelberger officiated. Interment was made in the Hillsboro Baptist Cemetery.
Miss Cochran passed away on Monday morning at the Lackey Hospital. She was a retired schoolteacher, and was a lifetime resident of Hillsboro.
She is survived by a number of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Melvin Matthews, J.B. Harvey, Billy Ray Chambers, Junior Dickerson, Tommy Bell, and Quinton Mills.
